Cancellation & Refund Policy

TempleTowns, operated by ITUMAN GLOBAL (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, is an aggregator platform that enables users to discover and book temple-town tour packages offered by independent third-party tour operators (“Operators”).
As TempleTowns does not operate the tours or collect the full tour amount, cancellations and refunds are governed as follows:
1. Nature of Payments
When you make a booking on TempleTowns, you pay only the booking/platform fee (“Platform Fee”) through our website. The remaining tour/service amount is paid directly to the Operator before or during the tour, as per the Operator’s instructions. TempleTowns has no control over and does not collect, hold, or refund any amount paid directly to the Operator.
2. Cancellation Eligibility
Each tour package on the website includes a cancellation cut-off date determined solely by the Operator. You may cancel a booking on or before the cut-off date. After that date, no cancellation or refund request can be accepted. The cut-off date is displayed on the package details page prior to booking.
3. Refund of Platform Fee
If you cancel on or before the cut-off date, the Platform Fee you paid at the time of booking will be refunded. If you cancel after the cut-off date, the Platform Fee is non-refundable. Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 1–2 business days after approval, and the amount may take additional time to reflect in your bank account depending on your bank/payment method.
4. Amount Paid to the Operator
TempleTowns does not handle payments that are paid directly to the Operator. The tour amount paid to the Operator is not refundable through TempleTowns. Any request for refund of the Operator’s portion must be taken up directly with the Operator, subject to their policy. TempleTowns is not responsible for any refusal, delay, or non-payment of refunds by the Operator.
5. No Cancellations Due to Personal Reasons or No-Show
No cancellations or refunds (platform or operator) will be issued in cases of no-show by the customer, personal reasons preventing travel, change of plans, or incorrect booking details provided by the user.
6. Service Issues, Quality Concerns, or Tour Experience
TempleTowns is a facilitator and does not operate or control the tours. We do not offer refunds for quality of service, Operator behavior, delays, miscommunication, service disruptions, vehicle/transport/accommodation issues, schedule changes by the Operator, or any dissatisfaction arising from the tour experience. Such concerns must be addressed directly with the Operator. You may report issues to support@templetowns.com, and we may take internal action against the Operator (e.g., suspension or delisting). This does not make us liable for refunds or compensation.
7. Incorrect or Inaccurate Package Details
If you believe the package content on TempleTowns materially differs from what was provided by the Operator, you may report it to our support team within 24 hours of your booking. TempleTowns may review the complaint internally and take action against the Operator; however, we do not provide refunds based on disagreements about package descriptions or quality of service.
8. Payment Gateway Charges & Refund Timelines
Refunds for the Platform Fee will be initiated within 1–2 business days after approval. Depending on your payment mode and bank, the amount may take 3–7 working days to reflect. Payment gateway charges (if any) are non-refundable.
9. Modification of Bookings
Modifications (date changes, pax changes, etc.) are subject entirely to the Operator’s discretion. TempleTowns cannot modify reservations on your behalf.
10. Force Majeure
No cancellations or refunds will be processed due to events outside the control of TempleTowns or the Operator, including but not limited to natural calamities, weather conditions, transport strikes, political unrest, health emergencies, or government restrictions.
